Dr. Khabra earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and Tuskegee University, graduating in 2007. With 18 years of hands-on veterinary experience, Dr. Khabra has dedicated nearly two decades to improving the lives of animals and supporting the families who love them.
Dr. Khabra is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), staying current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine to provide the highest standard of care.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Khabra remains deeply committed to animal welfare and the Sacramento community. His multilingual abilities (English, Punjabi, and Hindi) allow him to connect with and serve the diverse families who call Sacramento home.

Dr. Khabra’s journey to veterinary medicine began in Punjab, India, where he grew up in a farming family surrounded by animals. From an early age, he developed a deep passion for animal welfare — a passion that would shape his entire career.
“I was born into a family of farmers, surrounded by pets as a child,” Dr. Khabra recalls. “That early connection with animals, combined with my love for science and medicine, inspired me to dedicate my life to improving animal welfare.”
That dedication drives everything Dr. Khabra does. Whether he’s performing a complex surgery, diagnosing a difficult case, or providing a routine wellness exam, he treats every pet with the same care and compassion he’d want for his own.
